Window Cleaning

The water fed pole window cleaning system

The benefits

1). Better Cleaning Results

Dirt particles are agitated using a purpose made, soft bristled brush, and rinsed away using extremely pure water, no chemicals or detergents are required.

You should also expect to see the windows cleaned using this method left wet, don't worry, this is normal. Although This may be a little disconcerting at first, since this is not what you have been used to, but please be assured that the windows will dry naturally, Water droplets will remain on the glass, but because these water droplets are pure water, it should dry virtually spotless and even the window frame can be cleaned each time, where possible using this method.

You will likely notice that the windows seem to stay clean for longer, this is because there is no sticky soap residue left on the window, Usually rainfall would mix with this soap residue and form little spots on the windows so after a little while using this method, all traces of the soap residue will be rinsed away so the rain will have no soap residue to mix with and therefore they will appear to remain cleaner for longer.

You may ask why use pure water to clean windows? The reason is because in regular tap water there are minerals like calcium, potassium and magnesium, when regular tap water dries on a window it will cover it in white smears, these white smears are the impurities in the water so using pure water eliminates this problem.

2). Health and Safety Legislation

Legislation now limits the use of ladders as temporary workstations. The law states that ladders should only be used when all viable safer alternatives have been considered. Water fed pole systems are seen as a safer alternative. This window cleaning method allows us to do the job to a very high standard from the safety of the ground.

3). Reduced disturbance.

Although we do our best to keep disturbance to a minimum, ladder use causes some inevitable disturbance something many householders appreciate is that by using water fed poles instead of ladders; there is no more need to worry about the window cleaner suddenly appearing at the bedroom window.

Although we will do our best to rinse away as much as possible of the previously mentioned soap residue left from previous cleaning methods, please allow for some slight spotting for the first few cleans. Soap tends to lodge around the edge of the frames, and it may take a few cleans to completely rinse it away.

The use of water fed poles as an alternative to ladders where possible to do so, is now seen as the accepted way of cleaning windows in harmony with recent health and safety legislation.

Window cleaning can be provided on daily, weekly, fortnightly, monthly, or set times throughout the year.
